A serene coastal escape in Pefkos, defined by modern comfort, soulful service and the timeless charm of family‑run luxury.
Set along the tranquil coastline of Pefkos, Palm Bay Hotel offers an inviting blend of understated luxury and authentic Greek warmth. Family‑run and beautifully maintained, it’s the kind of place where guests feel instantly welcomed, not just by the setting, but by the people who give the hotel its soul.
From the moment we arrived, the hospitality was exceptional. George, the owner, and his daughter greeted us personally, offering a warm introduction to the hotel before arranging a private buggy to escort us and our luggage directly to our room. It’s a thoughtful gesture that sets the tone for the stay.
The on‑site bar and supermarket remained open until 3am to accommodate late arrivals, and on departure day, George and his daughter stood waving guests off, handing out chilled bottles of water — and even a heartfelt hug — as travellers headed for the airport. It’s rare to find service this genuine.

Our Superior Sea View Room with shared pool was a serene retreat of modern décor, immaculate cleanliness and calming coastal views. Spacious and elegantly refreshed, it opened onto a peaceful terrace overlooking the Aegean.
Afternoons spent by the shared pool were blissfully quiet, with uninterrupted sea vistas and a gentle breeze creating the perfect setting for relaxation. Housekeeping was excellent, with rooms cleaned every other day and bins emptied daily, keeping everything pristine.

Guests staying in Superior rooms can enjoy an included breakfast, with a generous buffet available until 10am each morning. Staff at the bar and pool areas were consistently attentive, offering drinks and snacks with polished ease. Down at the beachfront bar, delicious food, chilled drinks and a relaxed happy hour from 3pm created an effortlessly indulgent afternoon atmosphere.
Palm Bay’s facilities cater beautifully to both families and couples. A large family pool with a dedicated children’s section sits alongside two rooftop pools reserved for guests aged 14+, offering elevated views and a more tranquil ambience. The hotel also provides direct beach access, a pool table and an abundance of sunbeds along the shoreline.
Entertainment is offered at least four nights a week, with the standout being the lively Greek Night, complete with traditional dancing, plate smashing, authentic cuisine and unlimited drinks. It’s a joyful celebration that brings guests together.
Just a 10 minute stroll from the hotel lies Pefkos’ vibrant dining scene. Our favourite was Kyma Beach Restaurant, where we enjoyed a sunset meal accompanied by a live saxophonist, a magical moment that captured the essence of Pefkos.

With its heartfelt service, modern rooms and unbeatable beachfront location, Palm Bay Hotel offers a relaxed yet refined escape on the beautiful island of Rhodes.
